02/ Training Programs

Türkiye Nuclear Energy Company (TÜNAŞ) considers the training and development activities provided to its employees and candidates willing to work in the nuclear energy sector as an investment in the future of our country. In line with its corporate strategies and through its talent management process, TÜNAŞ prepares each year individual and group-specific development plans in order to acquire and develop a highly qualified and talented human capital. TÜNAŞ Human Resources and Organizational Development Department is responsible for the effective implementation of the subject development plans.

During the preparation of the development plans, sectoral trends are closely monitored and special attention is given to ensure that employee and company goals are aligned. The development plans are implemented, when needed, through internal or external trainings.

Within the framework of the Agreement between the Government of Republic of Turkey and the Government of the People’s Republic of China for Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy dated April 9, 2012, TÜNAŞ participates in the selection of Turkish students willing to work in the nuclear energy sector, for the master programs in nuclear energy proposed at the Tsinghua University and the Harbin Engineering University with the objective of establishing the required specific expertise enabling to build-up a local nuclear industry and infrastructure. Within its scope, TÜNAŞ provides various supports to the selected students during their education in China and provides employment opportunities for those who successfully complete the programs.

TÜNAŞ has adopted the principle of building the future together with its employees and prospective employees willing to work in the nuclear energy sector. Within this context, as part of the scholarship program funded by the Ministry of National Education, Turkish students sent abroad for their master's and doctoral studies in nuclear energy are, at the end of their studies, employed by TÜNAŞ to serve their compulsory services.
